Since the founding of Mpiri, it has been a stated aim to be active in creating new music. This we have done by commissioning new choral works steadily. We have commissioned more than 30 works by more than 10 composers.
Apart from the commissioned works, we sing a wide range of genres mostly in the classical acapella genre.
