On 2. june, the female singers in Mpiri will participate in the opening of COPENHAGEN PAINT PARTY which is world record attempt on producing the biggest painting ever.
The festival COPENHAGEN DISTORTION 2011 will be held 1. through 5. june.

This spring we have had the misfortune of parting with two tenors. One soprano has taken leave from Mpiri due to family expansion.
We have fortunate enough to welcome two former members and one new into Mpiri.
Kristin Bæk is back as 2. soprano. Benjamin Gaasedal is also back on 1. tenor. Bartal Nolsøe Poulsen is new to Mpiri. He will join Mpiri as baryton.
We are very pleased with all the good times we have had with the singers that have left us now, and we wish them all the best.
Mpiri will perform the annual spring concert on 15. may at 16:00. The venue is Kristkirken, Enghave Plads 18, 1670 København V.
This year we have been exploring choral music over the theme “Light and Water”. We will be performing moderne music as well as music from the renaissance.
For this concert Mpiri will be conducted by our guest concductor Lise Bjerno
Admission is free.
